Lake Powell

Nick and Steve cooling of at Lake Powell
We had a great time at Lake Powell. It was so fun with our whole family, minus Sean and Selena. Sean tried to come but he would have had to drive 10 hours.
Dad and I left early to find a great campsite on the shore. Jen forgot that the Lake was up 20 feet since she had last seen it. So we set up on a cliff. It was such a beautiful view.
Finally Jen, Steve, Nick and Rachel got there. Setting up in the dark. The next morning was so nice. We took the boat out to the inlets and the canyon walls were so tall and looked more like artwork than walls. We found this awesome cave, or overhang and Everyone went into the water except me. That was so fun watching everyone! I always have fun watching my family together.
Nick and Rachel set up the volleyball net and we played "Monster Volleyball". Kevin even played. The only bad thing was if the ball rolled into the water, it would get muddy and then the next person to hit it would be covered with sand.
We also played Scatagories, Baulderdash, Settlers and I played a game of Scrabble myself.
Jen and Steve brought a trailer and that was awesome. We could use it in the heat of the day. Then after dinner play games.
The boys all had fun, including Kevin throwing the football! It was a nerf football and Steve and Nick taught Kevin to throw.
I wish we could have stayed longer........... it was so fun. Next time we need to rent a water trampoline for Kevin.
